I'm Hanna, a product designer based in San Diego with four years of experience in fintech and embedded finance. Most of that time was spent at Upward Financial, where I joined as the company's first full time hire. Early stage environments shaped how I work from the very beginning. I'm used to ambiguity, real stakes, and wearing more hats than the org chart suggests. That taught me how to move fast without cutting corners and how to build products people actually trust.

I care about design that works for real people in real situations, especially people who are often overlooked by the systems they're trying to navigate. AI is now a real part of how I work, and I'm always exploring what the tools can do.

Outside of work, you can usually find me outside, playing volleyball and enjoying the sunshine tax of SD. I love playing piano, and have a soft spot for senior animals.
